A little this, a little that
Said the all-inclusive cat:
A sparrow, robin, mouse or two,
A snake, skink, perhaps a shrew.
A pigeon plump down on its luck,
Its feathers I like to pluck.
Nature is bountiful, said the cat.
A little this, a little that.
You say you’re not a poet, but I really like this one. I like how you brought the concept of acceptance to using a cat that just wants to be fed. And play with its food.
