I do not much like her novels.
They are crammed with characters like clowns jammed in jalopies.
But I like her epilogues.
They are lean and succinct, sinewy.
A bit like you, Bev says with a chuckle.
I may not have a novel in me but I have a draw full of epilogues.
And when push comes to shove I can pump out prologues at the drop of a hat.
It’s the in-between bits I’m not good at.
I could leave them to someone else.
Jilly Cooper, for instance.
Not a fan of Jilly Cooper. Her stories remind me of the Collezione Harmony–a series of Italian romantic fiction novels from the 1980s loaded with romantic suspense and romantic intrigues plus a bit of eroticism…
just in case you become a fan of Harmony…here is the link to buy the novels…https://www.eharmony.it/Harmony/Libri/Romance/Collezione

thank you. I did check the website but romance novels do not appeal to me but my close friend loves them and sometimes over a wine or two she reads me the saucy bits 🙂 I also feel the sexual politics displayed in them is somewhat outdated and at variance with the current climate. But her epilogues are good 🙂
