Hi. Good question. I guess I always enjoyed reading. Books by Dr. Seuss were favorites of mine when I was young.
My favorite novelist (in recent years) is Philip Roth.

I’ve read ‘The Human Stain’ and the one everyone’s read, ‘Portnoy’s Complaint’. I guess my favourire writer of now is Lydia Davis. I like short short stories 🙂 thanks for the feedback

thanks Beth. It will please you that I am now reading ‘Jane Eyre’ but I’ve been stuck on Chapter 6 for the last week 😦

Good for you, John!
Chapter 6, eh? Jane must still be at Lowood. That was a hard part of the book for me to get through, too.
I’d love to read your analysis of it. When done reading, I hope you post it on your blog!
Have a good one, John!
