The bite
Of frost
In the air;
The breath
Of winter
On my neck
those icy
Innuendoes
down the pike,
The touch
Of winter
In yr text

Wow, this is startling in its message. Brevity and imagery delivering the point so brutally big beautifully.

Winter is coming where I live (Pennsylvania, USA). Itβs pretty cold here this morning. See you!

We’re just tapping into winter up here. -7 degrees Celsius right now, John. Soak up an extra ray of hot sunshine in my name and embrace your summer with the warmth it shows you.
The burden of Mistress Winter is heavy, her frigid hours are long, but we must pay our dues to see Summer again.
Or maybe I should just move to the tropics. But that’s a conversation for later. π
