My daughter has been Axe Throwing with some friends from work.
Apparently it is the new thing.
It’s a bit like darts only more dangerous,
I’ve been hit with a dart in the hand the last time I played,
Being hit with a hatchet would be a totally different thing.
People are encouraged to bury the hatchet in the target not in each other.
This is not ‘Vikings’.
It looks like fun. I’m thinking of going along.
But I have too many axes to grind so I better
stick to darts.
* have you ever been axe throwing? or taken part in any other dangerous activity?
*if axe throwing is a more dangerous form of darts what is a more dangerous form of chess?
Dangerous chess? Tell your wife she looks fat in her favourite pants, she will never be as hot as her sister and she is starting to look like her mother. Then go to sleep while she makes her move 🤣

Only a thought, I’m a smart enough man for this not to become a reality. Also, none of these things apply to my wife 😏😂

Is that a true tale within the words of that piece, John? If so, it seems mad to me, why on earth would you throw an axe, a tool made for chopping, not hurling! Life is so strange sometimes …

It is true, Carolyn. Centres are opening all over the world. Google it for more info. Strange indeed 🙂

I just Googled this John, it seems there’s going to be an axe throwing place opening up in Adelaide soon … It looks a bit weird, never heard of such a thing before reading it on your blog!
I’ll stick with the poetry reading, I think!

Yes, I googled it John. The thought that the centres allowing this also serve alcohol is totally and stupidly bizarre!

I agree that alcohol should not be available. I take it I won’t see you at one 🙂
