Where does the sky start?
The sea begin?
Somewhere round the bend.
Somewhere round the bend
we can all be friends,
all colours and creeds blend
Somewhere somewhere
somewhere around the bend
we can be together again
what was broken, will mend
Somewhere round the bend
the animals will be our friends
all plunder will end
somewhere somewhere
round the bend
Animals and plunder, huh?

yes, I’m thinking of the poaching of the larger mammals and the smuggling in of the smaller often in appalling conditions….

thank you; I wrote this walking along a beach — a half hour walk — so the rhythm helped me remember the words 🙂

Somewhere round the bend, we’ll stop being prejudiced against the colour black.
Somewhere round the bend, we’ll give up the suspicion against the skull cap.
Somewhere round the bend, we’ll stop burning people at stake for new ideas.
Somewhere down the bend, we’ll grow a larger heart…
