One can only swing alone for so long! I thought my solitude was sacred for some time. Now, things are a bit “busier” with onlookers and visitors. I’m not complaining,…it’s just different. 💛
I also valued my solitude for a while but I’m much happier , more settled now though we still have three days a week apart; but my paraplegic friend is quite happy having visitors during the week and going out with his mates — of whom I’m one — on weekends; we weren’t meant to be alone but companionship can take many forms —
Yes! My tribe is small in real life. But I have many friends from education that I still contact. Solitude is good for only so long right? I appreciate your wisdom!

thanks Beth; it was a momentary revelation, not a boast; I thought I captured it well; I wanted to share it 🙂

It surprises me too, that I’ve landed on me feet.

it’s the best way to land, Bob; you wish that everyone could do so; glad you have; you hope it for your children too —

it’s been a while coming, Eden but in that moment I realized it was there all along, just working itself out, sometimes quietly, sometimes noisily 🙂

There’s always that gentle swing – to and fro – and then the realization that this side is better than that one. 🙂

you’re right, Terveen; that’s how it goes; the ‘swing’ captures it well 🙂

It’s all about spotting the landing. Just ask the squirrels🐸✌️🙂

the squirrels are right; and if the landing is metaphorical, it’s just as satisfying 🙂
