Maybe if I was a little less lethargic
I could turn to things pelagic
and swim in the open sea
my arms and my legs
could become fin-amajegs
and I could blow rainbows
through my nasal cavity

Pelagic – which I probably should have known. And fin-amajegs which I couldn’t find. Nor could I find amajegs on its own. I wondered if it was a sort of mix of pyjamas, jeggings and fins? I love a made-up word so I am curious.

‘pelagic’ I had to check on before I used it; finamjegs is much trickier; it’s based on the word ; thingamajig but I played with the form, substituting ‘fin’ for ‘thing’, for the whale reference, and changing the end rhyme to ‘jegs’ to go with ‘legs’; I like playing around with words 🙂
