Ah yes. Everybody needs a bit of ramshackle in their lives. A plant with dead leaves. A cobweb streamer. Books in disarray on some shelf or table. But with young kids, ramshackle invades. It’s like whackamole. You tidy and turn away and wavoom… mess appears. 😀
hahahahahaha; wonderful, Worms; I just love the word. and that sentence came to me; I like doing short pieces at the moment; got a few longer ones lined up for when ‘the silly season’ is over 🙂
so good to hear from you; it is coming, it is coming, though not quite as close as Xmas 🙂 speaking of which, I wish you and those close to you a merry one 🙂

so true, Beth; a place needs to look warm, inviting not standoffish 🙂

it must be an Aussie word, Bob: it has that no nonsense, tell-it-how-it-is, no bullshit feel about it 🙂

If ramshackle equals comfort, then I’m all for it. 🙂
