Quite an insistent breeze! Is the change of tense in the last line deliberate? It’s different for you to head into more “micro poetry” as I think it gets called. I like the slight ambiguity of who the “when sick” refers to.
yes, I see what you mean , and it is deliberate; I was out the back reading and i felt the breeze on my face, it reminded me of Bella licking me a week before at my daughter’s place when I crashed on the lounge, from exhaustion —
Eew. I get a clear picture of discomfort from that. Hope you are past the dog tongue phase soon and in the more dog tail wagging happy recovery bit, John.

thanks, Worms; the two golden staph infections knocked me around as that micro poem shows; taking antibiotics now so almost back to normal —

I’d rather not experience slurping wind. Your dog’s company, however, I would enjoy whilst recovering.

hahah true, Chel: it’s the first time Bella has shown any real affection; dogs have so much empathy —

Dogs are my spirit animal.
I didn’t realize that early enough in my life.
All the best, John.

A dog’s tongue is a bit ewww. But their company can be therapeutic. Hope you’re feeling better, John. 🙂
