    • great choices, Eden: the only one I haven’t heard is the ‘Suspicious Minds ‘ cover; will check that one out; thanks 🙂 Sinead’s cover is iconic ; my fave song of hers is ‘The Emperor’s New Clothes’ , an original —

  2. Jimi Hendrix’s cover version
    of ‘All Along The Watchtower’
by none other than Bob Dylan.
    An electrifying experience 🎸😎
    when played full blast on
    a quality stereo system 🔊
    (those Gen Zedders with their
    little plastic earpods just don’t
    know what they’re missing 🙉)

    • yes ! I remember that cover but NOT the original ; that sometimes happens with great covers: a classic instance is ‘Horses’, a mild hit for Rickie Lee Jones but a massive hit for Daryl Braithwaite who turned it into an Aussie icon —
